Help us Get More Bike Racks in the Corner!

With the aim of getting more of our community members on bikes, Friends of Woodfords Corner is conducting a Bike Rack Bonanza to install more bike parking locations around the neighborhood! We need your help to purchase bike racks and get them placed throughout the Corner.

We are now seeking public input on new bike rack locations! Vote on where you want to see bike racks and donate to our campaign.

Welcome Prashiddhi, FWC's new Economic Vitality Grad Assistant!

We are excited to welcome Prashiddhi Pokhrel to the FWC team as our Economic Vitality Graduate Assistant. She will be working with us to support the small businesses and economic development of the Corner.

Prashiddhi is a student at University of Southern Maine pursuing a Master’s degree in Statistics. She has always been fascinated with the world of numbers and data, which led her to dive into the realm of statistics and its applications.

Welcome Martha, FWC's new Board Member!

We are excited to announce that former Big Sky Bakery owner Martha Ecklus has joined FWC's Board of Directors.

Martha has lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years, and was a business owner in the Corner for even longer. She has a background in urban planning and healthcare policy and legislation.

Farmers Market Tote Bags Have Arrived!

You can now purchase a market tote bag! Proceeds will support our efforts to run the market and help us continue our market in the 2024 season. Starting and running a farmers market - however small - is a big job!

To get a tote, stop by the market tent to make a donation of $25 or more to Friends of Woodfords Corner. They will be available for the remainder of our market season.
