Massage by Moxcey Opens at 449 Forest Ave!
Massage by Moxcey recently moved in at 449 Forest Ave. Moxcey offers therapeutic bodywork that combines elements of Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, and polarity therapy, with a holistic and trauma-informed approach. Each session is adapted to the unique needs and goals of the client as they come in, whether they are looking simply to relax or to improve comfort and mobility. Moxcey completed the Holistic Massage program at the Spa Tech Institute in 2008. After graduation and completed further education in muscle restore technique and structural dynamics. Massage by Moxcey was originally opened in Westbrook, Maine in 2009.
Moxcey’s approach is also informed by a decade of providing direct support to people with developmental disabilities. As a Registered Maine Recreation Guide, Moxcey co-leeds many inclusive outdoor rec trips in Maine and New Hampshire with activities ranging from hiking and kayaking to winter sports.
