Welcome to our 2024 Farmers Market Manager, Jamie!

FWC excited to bring on a second part-time staff member to our team - our new Market Manager will coordinate and manage the operations of the Woodfords Corner Farmers Market! We are grateful to all of our 2023 donors who’s generous contributions made it possible to hire Jamie.

Jamie is a new Mainer who hails from Oakland, California, where she worked at the intersection of labor, climate, waste, and equity. Her many hats included being an entrepreneur, intrapreneur, consultant, writer, and laborer who advocated for shifting power, transforming narratives, and growing a thriving, place-based economy. Jamie is enjoying learning about her new community as a member of the 2024 class of Leadership Portland.
