Welcome New Graduate Assistant, Eric Blasco!

We are excited to welcome Eric Blasco to the FWC team as our Farmers Market Graduate Assistant. He will be working with us to support the Woodfords Corner Farmers Market!

Eric is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at the University of Southern Maine. Previously he ran a business designing, building, and programming educational gardens for schools, municipalities, and nonprofits.  He grew up on an organic family farm in New England and  is passionate about local food access and regenerative farming. He is also a Graduate Assistant in the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) department at USM, in addition to coming on as the Friends of Woodfords Corner Farmers’ Market Graduate Assistant. He hopes to specialize in Ecotherapy and currently is a certified Forest Bathing Guide (with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy) and leads Forest Bathing walks throughout the region. In all his work he aims to connect people to themselves, the land, and community.

Welcome, Eric!
